Customer Acquisition and Service Manager

GuruFocus.com is a Plano, Texas-based company that provides online stock market research subscription services. We are now in our 20th year of serving investors from more than 100 countries. Currently we have an opening for the position of Customer Acquisition and Service Manager.

The successful candidate is expected to work on the customer understanding and acquisition for our online subscription business.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Responsible for analyzing customer behavior and needs; formulate actionable initiatives and campaigns for customer acquisitions.
  2. Recruit new customers through different traditional and digital channels to expand the client base.
  3. Ensure existing customers receive first class service including but not limited to identifying and resolving client issues, understanding their requirements, conducting client demos and training, and managing additional client inquiries/needs as required.
  4. Increase client adoption of the platform through education of product features and offering, ultimately driving efficiency and cost reduction for clients.

Education and experience

  1. 1-3 years of experience in customer service and acquisitions for subscription businesses in finance industry
  2. Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or economics.

Commercial awareness

  1. Have an excellent client service ethos and be able to communicate effectively with priority clients and sales prospects
  2. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  3. Familiarity with stock market investing a plus

This position will pay a base salary plus performance-based bonus. Paid time-off, healthcare benefit and retirement benefits are provided for full time employees.
